Creating the giftbags for our wedding party weekend was so much fun! We knew we needed to hook up party up with all that they needed for our wedding weekend away in Maine. Of course, we wanted to gift them unique things but also functional things that they could use throughout the weekend. We're going to go through both the bridesmaids and groomsman giftbags- but also our junior bridesmaid and flower girl too!
Our wedding was on the coast of Maine in Cape Neddick- so of course our theme was coastal colors- navy, white, gold, silver and shades of blue. I wanted to keep this consistent in our gifts to the bridesmaids --all blue everything :)
For their duffel bag, I wanted to get them a bag with a long strap and something that zipped-- because I knew they'd be traveling around the resort with it and to the getting ready room to get ready in the morning of the wedding. I found this navy zippered, lightweight tote on Amazon and it was perfect!
In order to tell the bags apart- instead of adhering their names directly onto the bags, I thought it would be different to get them a white leather luggage tag with their names in gold foil script. I found these on Esty and I loved how they came out!
Next, we needed the robe! The infamous getting ready robe! Most wedding parties get ready in these silk robes before they get changed into their dresses for the wedding. I decided to choose navy silk robes with their initial on the right chest in a silver foil. The lace detailing on the sleeves was gorgeous and they were really comfy too!
For hair accessories to wear down to get ready, I found these beautiful, ribbed, light blue scrunchies on Etsy that came with the cutest customizable tag with our wedding date on it. I thought this was such a fun touch! I also added in a chrome claw hair clip for them to use as well!
For their makeup bag- I went with these navy cotton canvas zippered bags with their names in gold script. I loved these - and thought they were perfect for all of their morning essentials!
I wanted to gift them a jewelry box to have for their day of jewelry, but also something they could use when traveling or even just at a home for their favorite pieces! I found this white leather jewelry box on Etsy- and I just loved the crystal initial on top!
For their jewelry, I worked with our friend Kylie over at Coastal Hearts-- a local NH small business-- to custom make the girls their bracelets. We went with an abalone stone and chrome silver beads. They came out stunning and they totally fit the vibe I was looking for! She was great to work with and I continue to buy my bracelets from her because she is amazing! As for their earrings, I found these gorgeous, oversized crystal studs on Amazon-- which already came on the cutest backing tag that said "I couldn't tie the knot without you" which was perfect!
As a small added gift- I found these baby blue card holder wallets that I was able to customize their names onto from Etsy. I thought they were super cute to tote around the resort with and small enough to toss some cash and your cards into a small bag as well!
A champagne flute the morning of the wedding is a must! Since we were traveling up to Maine with these bags and the girls would be bringing them around the resort- I forewent the glass and decided to go with a plastic champagne flute that I found on Esty and I had their names in white vinyl put onto the front. I loved how these looked in pictures!
Next, another import gift is the hanger! As a bride or bridesmaid-- you know about the hanger photo! For the girls hangers, I decided on this washed teakwood that I felt was perfect for our coastal vibe! Their names and titles were written in white script and it was so fun seeing them all lined up! These hangers were custom made for us on Etsy.
As for footwear-- I wanted the girls to be comfy as much as they could be! I found these cute bow white and navy slippers on Amazon that were a perfect match for the navy robes! They were super comfy too! I also grabbed these silver sparkle flip flops from Old Navy for the girls to switch into at the reception. Who doesn't love ditching their heels for some comfy flip flops!?
The weather in Maine -especially along the coast- is never always what they say its going to be. Of course, the week of our wedding-- the weather forecast showed 68 degrees and rain. So, what did I do? I panicked-- ran to Amazon-- found these light blue pashminas and made a cute little hang tag with ribbon for them that said "To Have and to Hold incase you get Cold". Of course, it was not cold on our wedding day and it did not rain (THANK GOD!!!). It ended up being a beautiful day-- the perfect weather with lots of wind by the water. But i'm glad I prepared for the cold, rainy weather anyway with these pashminas!
Last but not least-- we made a custom t-shirt for our wedding party and all of our guests. Sark and I have been in the custom clothing industry for years- so we knew from day one that this was something we wanted to do! We loved how ours came out so much! By the end of the night, so many of our guests were wearing our shirts and continue to do so even now! The back of our shirt resembled a postcard from Maine and read "Greeting from: The Sarkisians" and also said "Maine's Biggest Party on the Cliffs". We loved this so much and added one into each of the girls bags to ensure that they got one too :)
The Groomsmen Gifts! This was also a fun one to put together! Sark and I are #TeamAdidas forever. We work very closely with the brand every day and it is definitely something that defines us. So of course- looking for a perfect duffel bag was an easy task! Sark went with these grey duffel bags from Adidas that he had each of his guys initials embroidered in white on the top flap. These were perfect for them to tote around the resort!
Inside was filled with such fun goodies! Sark gave each of the guys a pair of Adidas CloudFoam sneakers and Adidas black slides. Figuring-- at the reception they would want to ditch their dress shoes and toss some of these on! The guys loved the shoes-- and my dad even put his slides on for our first dance (which i found out about when I saw pictures the next day! hahah)
Sark also gave his groomsmen their brown dress shoes, navy ties, navy pocket square and navy lobster socks for their day of wedding attire. The shoes were purchased from Clarks.com, lobster socks from Amazon.com and ties/pocket squares from tiebar.com.
Sark also wanted to give his guys something to drink their cold beers out of- so he designed these custom navy blue can yeti's with their initials! These came out so good and the guys loved them. To go along with this, he found these American flag draft toppers which completely cut off the top of a can for you to chug out of! Such a fun gift!
Of course, just like the girls-- we added in one of our custom t-shirts to the boys bags to make sure that they got one :) Sark was so happy with how his groomsmen gifts turned out.. and they were too!
As for the littles, we wanted to do something more fun! I found these backpacks and the adhesive glitter letters from Target during the Stoney Clover collab drop. Once I saw these fun, clear, colorful backpacks- I knew I needed to get these for our niece Kennedy (our junior bridesmaid) and our flower girl, Jovie.
Inside, we stocked them up with their robes, jewelry, hangers, pashminas-- same as the bridesmaids. But their special gifts were their coastal themed polly pockets! They loved these to play with during the rehearsal dinner and I thought they were so cute! The front of the bag was a small, white, round pouch with a colorful checkered lining for their little toys or jewelry. I added the white and gold adhesive heart to the front for the cutest added touch!
