About Us

We're Valeri and Sarki Sarkisian. In 2020, we became first time home buyers in Massachusetts, navigating our way through a complete home renovation project all during a worldwide pandemic. Thankfully, finding our forever home was easier than most-- because we moved diagonal across the street from family- on the same street that I (Val) grew up on my whole life! :) 

We spent many months developing a plan for our new home. We jumped right into a new construction project and added a 2 car garage with main bedroom suite above to our existing home. As avid HGTV lovers, we began our process of making our new home into our dream home and it was time for us to make all of the design decisions ourselves just like we see on our favorite TV shows- and what a process it was! 

We decided to start an Instagram page to document our home renovation progress for ourselves and as a place to share with friends and family. We never imagined that it would turn into a whole new world for us. We have formed so many friendships, learned lots of DIY tips and tricks, gained so much passion and appreciation for decor & design- all while growing our loyal following along the way.

In Spring 2022- we became an affiliate with Amazon alongside LTK, sharing home, lifestyle, and organization finds and favorites with our instagram world. Between lots of messages and questions about the design and decor of our own home, we decided we wanted to make this side hobby into a business for ourselves - and Sweet Home Sarkisians became an LLC!

We're both all for following our dreams. We love to hustle and most importantly, we love helping people. We want to help people create spaces in their home that they truly love. Spaces that they can't wait to go home to and enjoy with their family and friends. We want to help fill spaces with decor that makes people feel happy and organized.
